Free & Low-Cost Lodging
Don’t Let Housing Be a Barrier to Treatment
Accessing the best cancer treatment often requires spending time away from home—sometimes in another city or state. For many patients and caregivers, finding safe, affordable lodging near a treatment center can be a significant challenge. Fortunately, there are trusted nonprofit organizations and hospitality networks that offer free or low-cost housing to help ease this burden. On this page, you’ll find a list of national programs that provide lodging support during cancer treatment, whether you’re traveling alone or with a caregiver.
While these resources have a national reach, many hospitals and local organizations also offer housing assistance or can help you connect with nearby options. If you don’t find a program that fits your needs here, consider speaking with your hospital social worker, insurance provider, or cancer support groups to discover additional local resources.
