Welcome to Open Impacts!
We’re committed to supporting you throughout your treatment journey. As a first step, we invite new members to schedule a brief 15–20 minute welcome session with one of our specialists. During this session, we’ll walk you through our resources, explain how the treatment survey works, and learn how we can best support your individual needs.
Prefer to get started independently?
As part of the community, every member of the Open Impacts patient is asked to contribute to our growing database of real-world patient data. When enough surveys are available, the full dataset will be analyzed and easy to understand summaries will be prepared and shared for the entire community to use. To complete your registration and gain full access to our resources, you can also choose to complete the treatment survey on your own using the link below.

The Oncology Patient Empowerment Network (OPEN) research project was launched on National Cancer Survivors Day (June 1st 2025), and already we have had incredible patient interest and enrollment. We are currently in the process of collecting and analyzing data from our initial cohort of patients. As we are working to help patients with many types of cancer with numerous treatment options for each, it will take some time before we have enough data to confidently provide robust information to the network. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Making this information available to patients, researchers, and physicians is at the heart of our mission, so rest assured that we will be in touch as soon as possible. Please keep an eye out for an email from our team with additional information when our first set of data becomes available.
The Open Impacts is funded and operated by a dedicated team of patient, researcher, and advocate volunteers. Ensuring the data is accurate, reliable, and presented in an informative, user-friendly way is a resource-intensive process.
